A lot of you have been asking for this! It is finally here. I like to make this the night before and put it in the fridge so the next morning I just grab it and go. It's especially helpful for those busy mornings when you don't have any time to make breakfast but you still need a protein-rich meal to kick off the day. I'm also going to put the macros below so you can just add them into your app.
INGREDIENTS:
1 scoop protein powder (this is a great one: https://1stphorm.com/collections/meal-replacement-proteins/products/level-1?variant=31157418164310?a_aid=getstrongwithgina)
1/2 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup almond milk (you can use any other milk you prefer)
1/2 tbs chia seeds
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
METHOD:
Put all ingredients into a mason jar and stir until combined. If you feel like it's too thick, add some more milk. Leave in the fridge overnight (or at least one hour). I prefer to eat it cold in the morning but if you'd like, you can heat it up in the microwave. Top with fresh berries!
MACROS:
Protein: 26g
Carbs: 42g
Fats: 8g
Note: not everyone does well with grains, including oatmeal. I personally don't feel affected or bloated from eating oats, but if you find after a couple tries that your stomach doesn't feel great from it, toss in the towel and find something else to eat for breakfast.
So, as you guys know we had a audio mishap while taping the other day and a bunch of you wanted us to upload it here on Locals- so that's what we're doing! Remember, if you haven't become a supporting member, we suggest you do as this is type of content (with better audio obviously) that ya'll get here on locals. ENJOY!!!
hey @MikeDoinGreat i wanted to thank you for introducing me to Cliffe Knechtle (from the askcliffe YouTube channel) after you mentioned him several times on the podcast. i'm firmly Protestant but he's ignited within me a love for apologetics and re-confirmed that if i believe in a truth, then it is worth sharing and defending. keep up the great work you two.
