This is one of my recent clients. She has done an incredible job taking care of her body and making small changes every day to get to this point. And she's STILL working on it so this is just the beginning for her!
She did not make any major changes. She did not give up bread or desserts. She did spend endless hours in the gym every week.
She was actually in the middle of a very busy time of her life so we just focused on these 2 things:
PROTEIN
She ate her weight in protein. Here's what I mean by that: whatever your weight is in pounds, eat that many grams of protein every day. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be eating 150 grams of protein a day.
My clients followed this rule every day—along with following specific macros for carbs & fat that I calculated for her—and had tremendous success.
WALKING
She walked at least 10,000 steps a day. She barely even worked out! But by aiming for 10K steps a day, she avoided a sedentary lifestyle and remained active every day.
If you saw my previous post, I also talked about how walking is a powerful tool for fat loss. In fact, I find it to be the best cardio for fat loss, especially for women. My client is living proof of that!
YOU can achieve great results from following these 2 simple steps as well. You will have to follow specific macro plan, though. If you're interested in learning more about calculating your own macros, I will be releasing a video this weekend for my subscribers about what formula to use and how to follow the numbers.
And don't forget: if you want to participate in a health challenge in the new year, become a subscriber and we will go through the group challenge together!
So, as you guys know we had a audio mishap while taping the other day and a bunch of you wanted us to upload it here on Locals- so that's what we're doing! Remember, if you haven't become a supporting member, we suggest you do as this is type of content (with better audio obviously) that ya'll get here on locals. ENJOY!!!
hey @MikeDoinGreat i wanted to thank you for introducing me to Cliffe Knechtle (from the askcliffe YouTube channel) after you mentioned him several times on the podcast. i'm firmly Protestant but he's ignited within me a love for apologetics and re-confirmed that if i believe in a truth, then it is worth sharing and defending. keep up the great work you two.
