If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I've been making pumpkin spice protein pancakes almost every morning these days. I'm head over heels for all things pumpkin during the fall — and these pancakes hit the spot!
Added bonus: it's a whopping 33 grams of protein.
If you don't know how much protein you should be eating, go back and watch the video I posted yesterday about how to calculate that number (it's available only to subscribers). I also explain why protein is such an important element for people who are trying to lose weight, shed body fat, or just stay lean.
That's why I'm a huge fan of these pancakes. They will give you a huge amount of protein early on in the morning. Plus, they taste amazing. Here's the recipe (it's one serving size):
Ingredients:
Directions:
Blend everything in a blender. Heat a pan to medium heat. Use a knob of butter or olive oil to grease the pan.
Cook the pancake evenly on both sides. This recipe should make 2 large pancakes. Top with bananas or blueberries or maple syrup — whatever you like!
So, as you guys know we had a audio mishap while taping the other day and a bunch of you wanted us to upload it here on Locals- so that's what we're doing! Remember, if you haven't become a supporting member, we suggest you do as this is type of content (with better audio obviously) that ya'll get here on locals. ENJOY!!!
hey @MikeDoinGreat i wanted to thank you for introducing me to Cliffe Knechtle (from the askcliffe YouTube channel) after you mentioned him several times on the podcast. i'm firmly Protestant but he's ignited within me a love for apologetics and re-confirmed that if i believe in a truth, then it is worth sharing and defending. keep up the great work you two.
